1 cup mixed bell pepper
15 oz hormel chili with beans
1 can canned peas, drained
3 cups rice, cooked
15 oz diced tomato

Recipe Directions for lemasney's quick mix tex mex stew.

  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine chili, peppers, peas, and diced tomato and simmer while rice cooks.

  2. Combine 1 cup of uncooked rice and 2 cups of water in microwave for 20 minutes.

  3. I like to add cumin, paprika, parsley, dried onion, salt and pepper to both the rice and the saucepan mix.

  4. When the rice is done, combine it with the contents of the saucepan and mix thouroughly. Enjoy with a piece of nice hearth style bread.
