Josh & Christina's version of Ham & Cheese pockets

Recipe Ingredients for Leikam's Ham & Cheese Pockets

1 1/4 cups warm water
4 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp olive oil
1 1/4 tsp bread machine yeast
2 cups diced ham
2 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
2 cups frozen broccoli
1 can nacho cheese soup

Recipe Directions for Leikam's Ham & Cheese Pockets

  1. Add warm water, salt, sugar, olive oil, flour and last bread machine yeast into your bread machine. Set the machine to dough and push start.

  2. Heat the nacho cheese soup up (do not add water).

  3. Heat the broccoli in the microwave just so it's not frozen.

  4. Roll dough out fairly thin 1/8" to 1/4"

  5. Add ham, broccoli, shredded cheddar and some of the nacho cheese soup to the dough.

  6. Pull the dough over top of the ingredients to make a pocket and seal sides together.

  7. Poke three small holes in the top of the dough to vent.

  8. Place pocket on a pizze stone and bake at 375 degrees until the dough is golden brown.

  9. Remove and enjoy!
