Recipe Ingredients for Leftover Corned Beef & Cabbage

4 cups boiled cabbage
4 cups boiled turnip
2 cups boiled carrots
1 lb boiled corned beef
1/4 lb butter

Recipe Directions for Leftover Corned Beef & Cabbage

  1. All quantities are approximate. To start with it's one cabbage one turnip, a bag of carrots, and a package of corned beef (about 1.5 pounds). We leave out the potatoes to control carbs. But you can have them. Also, just cut the meat and butter down for lower calories

  2. Cut the leftovers in to bite size pieces

  3. add half the butter to as big a skillet as you have. Black iron is best

  4. Put everything in, add salt and pepper, and fry on medium low heat, turning everything over now and then. Add the rest of the butter in pats over the cooking period

  5. When it's done to your liking, it's done.

  6. We like it crusty. Figure about 8 servings
