Recipe Ingredients for Leeks in olive oil

500 g leeks
2 carrots
1 tbs tomato paste
1 tbs olive oil
1 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt

Recipe Directions for Leeks in olive oil

  1. Heat the oil, put the carrots, stir fry 3 minutes.

  2. Add the sliced leeks (2cm in width) and stir fry 5-7 minutes.

  3. Add tomato paste, sugar and salt.

  4. Add 1 cup of hot water, simmer about 20 min.

  5. Open the lid and simmer 10more minutes.
