Base for Cream of Leek soup. Add milk-cream-2% carnation and + to your food log seperately

Recipe Ingredients for Leek soup base

6 leeks, sliced
3 bacon, diced
1 tbsp butter
3 cups of chicken stock
2 1/2 cups potatoes, diced

Recipe Directions for Leek soup base

  1. In a pot put bacon, butter & leeks-cook 10 minutes.

  2. Add 1 c. of chiken broth-Cover & cook 10 minutes more.

  3. Add potatoes and cover with remaining chicken broth. Cook till potatoes are tender.

  4. Blend till a puree (this can be frozen)

  5. Add the amount of dairy product you like to make a creamy soup.
