Lower fat version. Made with Dairyland (40% less fat) light cream.

Recipe Ingredients for Leek And Potato Soup

2 chicken bouillon packets
2 c. boiling water
1 1/2 c. diced potatos
2 leeks
1/4 chopped onion
3 slices Canadian bacon
1 c. light cream
1 Chives for garnish
1 pepper to taste

Recipe Directions for Leek And Potato Soup

  1. Fry bacon until just crisp.

  2. Add onion and cook until onion is clear.

  3. In pot add bouillon and boiling water, stir until disolved.

  4. Add all other ingriediants except skim milk and garnish.

  5. Bring to a boil. Cover, then simmer gently for about 30 minutesAdd skim milk and heat.

  6. Add garnish and serve in preheated bowls.
