Leek and Poppyseet tart - serves 6

Recipe Ingredients for Leek and Poppyseed tart

1/2 lb flour
6 oz butter
1 (500g) leeks
1/2 cup creme fraiche
1/2 cup ricotta cheese
5 eggs
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp poppy seeds
1 salt
1 pepper

Recipe Directions for Leek and Poppyseed tart

  1. Heat oven to 180 deg C

  2. Cut leeks into rounds and fry with alittle water for 10 mins

  3. Roll out pastry in quiche mould. Mix eggs, creme, cheese, poppyseeds, sal pepper and add leeks.

  4. Transfer to pastry, bake for 40mins
