Recipe Ingredients for Leek & Gruyere Gratin

4 leek Leeks, (Bulb And Lower Leaf-portion)
75 grams Gruyere Cheese
70 grams Creme Fraiche
0.2 Pint Cider
75 grams Bread, White, Commercially Prepared
10 grams Italian Parsley
100 grams Pancetta

Recipe Directions for Leek & Gruyere Gratin

  1. Preheat oven to 190C

  2. Slice leeks in half length wise and then into 2 inch pieces. Steam for 5 mins.

  3. Lay sliced side up in ovenproof dish.

  4. In a bowl mix half the cheese with creme fraiche and cider. Pour over leeks.

  5. In a food processor make bread into breadcrumbs. Mix with rest of cheese, chopped parsley and pancetta.

  6. Season and sprinkle over leeks. Bake for 40 mins
