You can add 3 T humus to the sauce to enrich Serve w/whole wheat bread

Recipe Ingredients for Lebanese salad

60 g burghul
125 g chick peas, canned
2 medium tomatoes
2 T parsley
1 T mint
1 1/2 T lemon juice
3 T yogurt
1/2 t ground cumin

Recipe Directions for Lebanese salad

  1. Pour boiling water over the burghul just to cover it. Let it steap for 10-15 mins, then drain if needed

  2. Mix the wheat w/the chickpeas, tomatoes, parsley, mint and lemon juice

  3. Add pepper to taste

  4. Mix the yoghurt w/the cumin, add a little salt if desired
