Very delicious and leaner than stuffed peppers made with beef

Recipe Ingredients for lean stuffed red bell peppers

1 pound lean ground turkey
1 onion
4 tsp Parsley, fresh
4 Red Pepper, sweet
1 tsp (dried) oregano
1 tsp (dried) thyme
1 pinch salt
1 pinch pepper
1 cup brown rice
1/2 cup marinara sauce

Recipe Directions for lean stuffed red bell peppers

  1. Directions

  2. Preheat oven to 400 degress

  3. In bowl combine:

  4. Turkey

  5. Onion

  6. Oregano

  7. Thyme

  8. Brown in skillet for 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and add:

  9. cooked rice

  10. fresh parsley

  11. Pinch of salt and pepper

  12. Fill red pepper with ground turkey mix. Place 2 Tbsp of water in a baking dish, cover with foil, and bake 15 minutes. Remove foil, bake another 5 minutes. Add a tbsp of Marinara sauce on top of ground turkey.
