Lean Chilli 5-7 servings depending on how big you serve your bowl :)

Recipe Ingredients for Lean Chilli

20 oz Extra Lean Ground Beef
1/3 cup Mexicorn
12 oz Chunky Salsa
1 serving Louisiana Hot Sauce
1 grams Chilly Powder Kashmiri
0.75 cup Black Beans
1 cup Diced Tomatoes
1 serving Diced Onions

Recipe Directions for Lean Chilli

  1. Cook Lean Ground Beef in Skillet. Strain out any liquid once meat is cooked throughout. Put meat to side.

  2. While meat is cooking add onions and any other chopped veggies you may have on hand to skillet and begin to simmer/saute (I had choppied onion left over, but would've thrown in a few bell peppers had I had any left in the fridge!)

  3. Add jar of Salsa, Can of Diced Tomatoes, splash of Louisiana Hot Sauce, 2-3 tsp Chilli Powder, 3/4 Can Black Beans, Small Can Mexicorn to Skillet and cook on medium/high heat stirring often.

  4. For easy seasoning grab a packet of fajita/chilli seasoning from the grocery store -- otherwise add more chilli powder, salt, pepper to taste.

  5. Simmer sauce until it becomes a bit thicker (10min) and stir in beef.

  6. Allow chilli to simmer on low/medium for an additional 5-10min stirring frequently.

  7. Enjoy with a sprinkle of cheese and/or a dollop of SC (but remember these add calories!)

  8. **Tip - I love mine over Oven Roasted Broccoli - the crispier the better!
