Tomato, Mozzarella, and Avocado Salad

Recipe Ingredients for Leaf Less Salad

2 tomatoes
3 1/2 oz mozzarella cheese
1 avocado
2 tbsp basil
20 black olives
4 slices bread, french
1 tbsp olive oil
1 1/2 tbsp white balsamic vinegar
1 tsp mustard powder or grain

Recipe Directions for Leaf Less Salad

  1. Cut the tomatoes into thick wedges and place in bowls

  2. Tear the Mozzarella and add to the bowls

  3. Cut the avocado in half, removing the pit. Cut the flesh into slices and place with the mozzarella and tomato.

  4. Make the dressing by mixing the oil, vinegar, and mustard in a separate bowl. And salt and pepper if desired and then drizzle over the salad.

  5. Sprinkle the torn basil leaves and black olives over the salad.

  6. Serve with a crusty bread, I prefer French bread.
