Recipe Ingredients for Lazy Cabbage Rolls

1 lb ground beef, extra lean
1 onion, chopped
1/2 cup rice
1/4 cup water
5 cups cabbage, shredded
2 teaspoons paprika
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
15 ounces tomato sauce

Recipe Directions for Lazy Cabbage Rolls

  1. Brown beef and onion in a very large frying pan.

  2. Add remaining ingredients to pan and bring to a boil. Immediately reduce to medium low and simmer for at least 1 hour. Do not stir.

  3. Crock Pot: After browning beef and onion, put beef, onion and remaining ingredients into crock pot and cook for at least 4 hours on low setting.

  4. Each serving can be served with 2 tablespoons of no fat sour cream and 1 teaspoon chopped green onion.
