Recipe Ingredients for Layered green stuffed peppers

2 large Peppers, Sweet, Green
1 pound ground turkey
4 ozs low fat cheddar cheese
1 cup brown rice (cook)
30 oz canned Tomato Sauce
1/8 cup chopped onion

Recipe Directions for Layered green stuffed peppers

  1. 1 lb ground turkey

  2. 1/8 cup onion

  3. brown in skillet,

  4. cook brown rice until almost done about 30 minutes.

  5. wash and slice green peppers into a 9x13 baking pan

  6. layer turkey over peppers, then layer rice and layer cheese and then pour tomatoe sauce over the top.

  7. cover with foil and bake at 350 in oven for 40 minutes.
