Recipe Ingredients for Layered Blueberry-Almond Fudge Bars

10 oz. white chocolate, Frutta discs
2 tbsp. butter
1 c. cornflakes, crumbs
3 oz. dried blueberries, Mariani
2 oz. almonds, slivered (1/2 c.)
8 oz. semi sweet chocolate, chips

Recipe Directions for Layered Blueberry-Almond Fudge Bars

  1. In a medium microwave safe bowl, melt together 2 oz. of the Frutta with the butter. Stir to combine once all is melted, add cornflake crumbs. Coat crumbs thoroughly, then press into an 8x8 square or 9x9 cake pan. Place in freezer to harden.

  2. Next, melt the remaining 8 oz. of Frutta in a medium microwave safe bowl. If desired, reserve a few tablespoons to drizzle over next layer.

  3. Cool melted white chocolate to room temperature, add blueberries. Spread over chilled crust, put back into freezer.

  4. Melt 8 oz. of dark chocolate in same bowl, add almonds. Spread over chilled white chocolate layer. Re-warm reserved white chocolate, and drizzle over dark chocolate layer, if desired. Chill thoroughly in refrigerator before cutting and enjoying :)
