Classic layered banana pudding, made with skim milk instead of whole or 2%. You could reduce the calories by using sugar-free pudding and sugar-free or lite whipped topping and the low-fat wafer cookies. I used regular of everything but the milk.

Recipe Ingredients for Layered Banana Pudding (made w/skim milk)

192 grams Pudding, Vanilla, Dry Mix, Instant
12 oz Whipped Topping Lite
4 cup Milk, Nonfat, Fluid
340 grams (1 box) Wafers
587 grams (6) Bananas, thinly sliced

Recipe Directions for Layered Banana Pudding (made w/skim milk)

  1. Mix the pudding mix with the milk with a whisk or electric mixer until thick.

  2. Fold in all but one cup of the whipped topping.

  3. Lay down a layer of cookies.

  4. Cover with pudding mix.

  5. Make a layer of the slices from one banana, repeat the layers, ending with bananas.

  6. On top of this, spread the whipped topping and decorate with the rest of the wafer cookies.

  7. Chill for a few minutes or for a few hours.
