A healthier and home made alternative to fast food chicken fingers.

Recipe Ingredients for Lauren's Homemade Chicken Fingers

2 lbs boneless chicken breast
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1/8 cup grated cheese
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 cup plain yogurt
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp butter

Recipe Directions for Lauren's Homemade Chicken Fingers

  1. Cut chicken into strips. Marinate in yogurt for a half hour or up to overnight.

  2. Mix all but the oil and butter in a shallow dish. Remove chicken from yogurt with a thin coating remaining on chicken strips. Dip into breadcrumb mixture and place onto baking sheet. Drizzle chicken strips with oil and dot with butter. Bake at 425 for 25 minutes or until done. Flip half way through cooking for even browining.
