Recipe Ingredients for Laura's Steak and Peppers

10 1/2 ounces beef, round bottom round, lean
1/2 red onion
1 green pepper
1/2 tomato
6 oz no salt tomato sauce
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon sofrito

Recipe Directions for Laura's Steak and Peppers

  1. brown onions and garlic in olive oil until brown

  2. add beef, worcestershire sauce and some tomato sauce

  3. brown beef for five minutes

  4. add peppers and sofrito

  5. continue to add tomato sauce with 1/4 cup of water if necessary

  6. saute on medium to low until almost cooked

  7. add tomatoes and saute until fully cooked

  8. season with salt to taste
