This recipe will make about five to six low calorie servings of delicious lasagne! I make it all the time.

Recipe Ingredients for Lasagne

350 grams Beef, Ground, 95% Lean Meat / 5% Fat, Crumbles
6 sheets Blue Menu 100% Whole Wheat Pasta Lasagne
250 grams 1% Lowfat Cottage Cheese Regular
500 grams Tomatoes, Crushed, Canned
1 Cube Stock Cubes
2 grams Season All Seasoned Salt
60 grams 2% Milk Reduced Fat Mild Cheddar
4 clove Garlic

Recipe Directions for Lasagne

  1. Brown beef in a skillet. I sometimes steam it first to get the remaining fat out. It makes it less fattening and after you brown and boil it, you can't really taste a difference.

  2. Season the beef with Season All (or similar).

  3. Add two cans of crushed tomatos.

  4. Add one cube of beef stock.

  5. Crush the garlic cloves and add to the skillet, as well as the italian seasoning.

  6. Let simmer for a few minutes.

  7. Start layering into the lasagne dish, beef, cottage cheese and lasagne pasta. Do this until you are out of the beef.

  8. Top with shredded cheese, bake until cheese is golden and enjoy!
