Home made Lasagne with Very Lean Minced Beef and a little cheating with Dolmio white sauce

Recipe Ingredients for Lasagne

800 g Minced Beef
10 plum tomatoes
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp brown sauce
450 g White Sauce
6 lasagne sheets
1 onion, chopped
8 cloves garlic
1 tbsp dried mixed herbs
113 g cheese

Recipe Directions for Lasagne

  1. Mince 5 cloves of garlic and add to wok along with tbsp of olive oil. Add minced beef, salt, pepper, mixed herbs and brown sauce and brown.

  2. Meanwhile - in a liquidiser add plum tomatoes, remaining garlic and onion and mix until smooth.

  3. Add to meat and simmer for 10 minutes.

  4. Spoon a layer of meat into a rectangular oven dish. Then add lasagne sheets, next add a layer of white sauce, then meat, lasagne sheets, white sauce and top with grated cheese.

  5. Put into pre-heated oven 180 degrees for 35-40 mins.
