Recipe Ingredients for Lasagne

252 g dry Lasagna
2 cups mozzarella, part skim milk cheese
1/4 cup parmesan cheese, reduced fat -- grated
15 ounces nonfat ricotta cheese
1 cup nonfat cottage cheese
1/4 cup parmesan cheese, reduced fat -- grated
2 tablespoons Parsley, raw -- chopped
8 ounces ground turkey
32 ounces tomato sauce
16 ounces crushed tomatoes
2 tablespoons tomato paste
1 medium onion, raw -- chopped
1 1/2 teaspoons garlic, fresh -- crushed
2 1/2 teaspoons dried italian seasoning

Recipe Directions for Lasagne

  1. Sauce:

  2. Brown meat and drain. Add remaining sauce ingredients to browned, ground turkey, and stir.

  3. Bring to a boil; reduce heat; cover and simmer for 25 minutes.

  4. Set aside.

  5. Filling: Combine all of the filling ingredients in large bowl and stir to mix well.

  6. Set aside.

  7. Assembly: Coat a 9x13 pain with cooking spray. Spoon 1 cup of the sauce over bottom

  8. of pan. Lay 4 uncooked noodles over the bottom of the pan (3 lengthwise and one

  9. crosswise). Allow a little space between noodles for expansion.

  10. Top noodles with half of the filling mixture, 3/4 cup of mozzarella, and 1 1/2 cups

  11. of sauce. Repeat the noodles, filling, mozzarella and sauce layers.

  12. Finally top with remaining noodles, sauce, Parmesan and mozzarella.

  13. Cover pan with aluminum foil and bake at 350 F for 45 minutes, remove foil and

  14. bake for 15 more minutes or until the edges are bubbly and the top is brown.

  15. Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes before cutting and serving.
