Basic recipe - I usually make my own sauce and sometimes add mushrooms to the sauce.

Recipe Ingredients for Lasagna - Susan's

175 grams noodles, lasagna (about 8)
1 egg
1 c cottage cheese, low fat - 1%
1 c ricotta cheese, low fat
1/4 c parmesan cheese
1/4 c parsley, fresh if you have it
1 pepper to taste
1/2 tsp salt
737 grams pasta sauce-26oz jar marinara
1 lb mozzarella cheese (18 slices)

Recipe Directions for Lasagna - Susan's

  1. Heat over to 350 and boil lasagna noodles until still quite aldente- rinse and set aside

  2. Mix together egg, soft cheeses, parsley, salt and pepper - set aside.

  3. Slice mozzarella into 18 slices

  4. just moisten bottom of lasagna pan with a little of the sauce

  5. layer half the noodles - half the soft cheese mix - half the sauce and top with 9 slices of the mozzarella cheese - Repeat

  6. Shake a bit more parmesan on the top for looks

  7. Cook uncovered for 30-40 minutes. Let rest at least 15 minutes before cutting.
