A lasagna themed soup, in under 30 minutes.

Recipe Ingredients for Lasagna Soup

454 grams Beef, Ground, 85% Lean Meat / 15% Fat, Crumbles
4 serving Molisana Strained Tomatoes
1 pepper, large (3-3/4" long, 3" dia) Peppers, Sweet, Yellow
1 small Onions
3 clove Garlic
2 cup No Salt Added Chicken Broth
2 serving Brown Rice Pasta
3 oz Parmesan, Hard Cheese

Recipe Directions for Lasagna Soup

  1. Partially brown the meat, onions and garlic on high 2-3 minutes

  2. Then add the chopped peppers, broth, crushed tomatoes and any other spices you like. Oregano, rosemary, crushed chili or basil.

  3. It will look very soupy at this point.

  4. Once it reaches a boil, throw in broken or smashed dry lasagna noodle pieces. (or sub in any pasta you prefer)

  5. Turn down to medium low and simmer until the noodles are cooked through. About 15-20 minutes.

  6. Garnish with some flat leaf parsley or basil, and a half ounce of Parmesan cheese freshly grated per serving.
