veggie & turkey lasagna rolls

Recipe Ingredients for Lasagna Rolls

8 oz lasagna noodles
1 1/4 lbs ground turkey
1 medium green pepper
1/2 medium onion
15 oz ricotta cheese
1 lb. mozzarella cheese
8 oz button mushrooms
1 cup chopped celery
1 tbsp Basil Leaves
1 tbsp. Oregano
1 tbsp. Salt
1 jar spaghetti sauce

Recipe Directions for Lasagna Rolls

  1. brown turkey, green pepper, onion, mushrooms, basil, oregano, and salt in skillet - set aside - once cooled, add 1 lb. mozzarella cheese, and mix well

  2. bring 4 qts water to a rolling boil, add salt for flavor, - add noodles. Bring back to boil, stirring occasionally. cooks apx. 10 min. When done, strain pasta & lay out individually on flat surface.

  3. Cover one side of the lasagna noodle with ricotta cheese

  4. Add 1/2 cup of the turkey mix to one end, and roll up

  5. Place seam down in the pan

  6. continue with remaining noodles

  7. cover in pasta sauce and bake at 350 degrees for 15min.
