Recipe Ingredients for Lasagna

1 large onion, chopped fine
6 sprigs parsley
22 ounces tomato sauce
4 ounce tomato paste
4 ounce tomato sauce
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 pounds lean ground beef
2 cups Mozzarella, Part Skim Milk, Low Moisture Cheese
3 cups spinach
16 ounces Mozzarella, Part skim Milk cheese
8 oz uncooked pasta

Recipe Directions for Lasagna

  1. Chop onion and cook in olive oil until translucent. Add chopped parsely, and all of tomatoes. Break up meat as you add to sauce. Add rest of ingredients. Cook covered for one hour over low heat.

  2. Spray large baking dish with cooking spray. Add layer of noodles (Lasagna noodles that require no boiling), layer of sauce, and then layer of ricotto and spinach mixture ( chop spinach in food processor until fine and then mix with ricotto) and 1/3 of mozzarella. Try to make three layers, always ending with cheese. Bake at 325 degrees until bubbly or freeze at this point.

  3. Allow to set for a few minutes to make serving easier.
