Lasagna made with zucchini instead of noodles.

Recipe Ingredients for Lasagna

8 ounce tomato sauce
6 slices zucchini
1 lb ground turkey
2 cups mozzarella cheese
12 oz cottage cheese
1 egg
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp parsley flakes
1/4 c onion
6 ounce tomato paste
3/4 cup water
2 T olive oil

Recipe Directions for Lasagna

  1. brown ground turkey with onions, add tomato sauce, oregano, parsley, tomato paste 3/4 c water. simmer 5 minutes.

  2. fry 6 slices of zucchini in olive oil and set aside.

  3. mix cottage cheese and egg together.

  4. layering: sauce, zucchini, cottage cheese, cheese, sauce zucchini, cottage cheese, cheese, top with last bit of sauce.

  5. bake 30 minutes @ 350 degrees
