Lasagna with lean ground beef and cottage cheese (in place of ricotta)

Recipe Ingredients for lasagna

1 pound ground beef
1 large onion
8 oz pasta, whole wheat
8 oz tomato sauce
28 oz canned tomatoes
2 cups 1% cottage cheese
10 oz spinach
6 oz mozzarella
1 tbsp olive oil

Recipe Directions for lasagna

Follow directions from Betty Crocker's New Cookbook for Italian Sausage Lasagna. Substitue lean ground beef for sausage, and cottage cheese for ricotta. Omit parmesan and cut mozzarella to 6 oz.
