Recipe Ingredients for Lasagna

1 tablespoon olive oil
103 grams onion, chopped
9 grams garlic, minced
139 grams mushrooms
108 grams lean hamburger
86 grams turkey sausage, italian
26 ounces Hunts Spaghetti Sauce
6 4/5 ounces whole wheat lasagna noodles
24 ounces fat free cottage cheese
144 grams mozzarella
50 grams reduced fat cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons parmesan cheese, grated

Recipe Directions for Lasagna

  1. Brown onion, garlic and mushrooms in olive oil.

  2. Add hamburger and turkey italian sausage and brown; drain. Add spaghetti sauce and simmer for 20-30 minutes.

  3. Cook lasagna noodles according to package directions.

  4. In 9x13 pan, layer noodles, 1/3 meat/spaghetti sauce mixture, 1/2 cottage, 1/3 mozzarella and 1/2 cheddar cheeses. Repeat twice omitting cheddar and cottage cheeses on top layer and adding parmesan.

  5. Cook in preheated 350 degree for 15-20 minutes or until bubbling around the edges
