Use whole wheat noodles (9 of them)

Recipe Ingredients for Lasagna

4 oz whole wheat lasagna noodles
16 oz spaghetti sauce
8 oz ricotta cheese
8 oz mozzarella cheese
1 large egg
1 lbs ground beef

Recipe Directions for Lasagna

  1. set noodle to boil

  2. brown beef and drain

  3. heat spagetti sauce in separate pot & add meat

  4. mix ricotta cheese, 1/2 of the shredded mozzarella, and egg in separate bowl

  5. drain cooked noodle

  6. layer in the following order: spagetti sauce mix; 3 noodles; 1/2 cheese mix; spagetti sauce mix; 3 noodles; other half cheese mix; spagetti sauce mix 3 noodles; spagetti sauce mix; other half of shreaded mozarella

  7. cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes

  8. bake uncovered an additional 5-10 minutes
