Recipe Ingredients for Lasagna

16 oz italian sausage
2/3 cup onion
2/3 cup Parsley
1 tablespoon minced garlic
3 can tomato paste
62 g can tomato sauce
1 1/2 teaspoon Oregano
1 1/2 teaspoon basil leaves
16 oz Ricotta
1 lb spinach
1/2 cup parmesan
3 eggs
1 box Lasagna noodles
3 cups mozzarella cheese

Recipe Directions for Lasagna

Boil 12 lasagna noodles till al dente. Brown sausage with onion and half the parsley then drain. Add tomato paste and tomato sauce, add oregano and basil leaves. Simmer covered for 5 minutes. Set aside. In a medium bowl mix, ricotta, spinich, eggs, and parmesan add 1 tbls garlic salt to taste. Spread 2 cups of sauce in bottom of pan, then 4 noodles, new layer is 1/3 the remaining sauce, 1/2 the cheese mixture and 1 cup of mozzarella, next layer is 4 noodles, sauce, remaining cheese mix, and 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, last layer is 4 noodles, remaining sauce and remaining mozzarella. Bake covered in 350 degree oven for 45 minutes. Uncover and bake an additional 10 minutes.
