Whole wheat lasagna with ground turkey breast

Recipe Ingredients for Lasagna

8 oz whole wheat lasagna noodles
1 lb ground turkey
1 egg
2 cups mozzarella
1/2 cup parmesean cheese
14 oz pasta sauce
1 pint ricotta

Recipe Directions for Lasagna

  1. Boil pasta.

  2. Brown turkey.

  3. Combine ricotta, egg, 1 cup mozzarella, 1/4 cup parmesean cheese with garlic salt and onion powder to taste.

  4. Combine ground turkey and pasta sauce.

  5. Layer the ingrediants in the pan and add the remaining cheeses to the top.

  6. Bake at 400 covered in foil for 30 minutes, remove the foil and bake an additional 30 minutes.

  7. Cool, then cut into 12 equal portions.
