Recipe Ingredients for lasagna

3 serving Oven Ready Lasagna
12 oz Beef, Ground, 85% Lean Meat / 15% Fat, Crumbles
26 oz Classic Italian Four Cheese Spaghetti Sauce
15 oz Ricotta, Part Skim Milk Cheese
1 large Egg, Whole
0.5 tsp Basil Leaves
1/2 tsp Spices Oregano Leaves
4 cup Cheese
0.25 cup Parmesan, Grated Cheese

Recipe Directions for lasagna

  1. Preparation:

  2. Remove 9 pieces of pasta from the package. Heat the oven to 350 F

  3. In a large skillet, cook meat until browned; remove from heat. Drain

  4. In a small bowl, stir together ricotta cheese, egg, basil, and oregano.

  5. Get out hunt?s (whatever brand) of spaghetti sauce

  6. Assembly:

  7. In a 13x9x2-inch baking dish, spread cup spaghetti sauce

  8. Place 3 pieces of uncooked pasta crosswise over the sauce. Pieces should not overlap or touch side of pan since they will expand when baked.

  9. Spread about 2/3 cup ricotta mixture evenly over pasta. Spread cup spaghetti sauce evenly over ricotta covering pasta completely; sprinkle with one cup of shredded mozzarella cheese; sprinkle ground beef on it to form a thin layer.

  10. Repeat steps two and three one more times. Top with the remaining 3 pasta pieces. Spread the remaining spaghetti sauce completely over the pasta; sprinkle with remaining mozzarella and parmesan cheese.

  11. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes; remove foil. Bake 10 to 15 minutes or until hot and bubbly. Let stand 5 minutes before cutting. (Serve with additional sauce if desired.)
