Recipe Ingredients for Lasagna in a bun

16 oz Beef, Ground, 95% Lean Meat / 5% Fat, Crumbles
1.41 oz Tomato Sauce
1 medium Egg, Whole
1 cup Fat Free Ricotta Cheese
8 oz Mozzarella, Part Skim Milk Cheese

Recipe Directions for Lasagna in a bun

  1. The calorie content of this is just for the filling. Add 278 calories for a hoagie bun. Total will be : 498 per sandwich.

  2. cut thin slice off top of bun. Hallow out centers, leaving 1/2 inch thick. Set aside. Fry beef until brown and crumbly. Add sauce and simmer 5 min. Add onion powder and oregano to taste if desired.

  3. Combine in a bowl beaten egg, Ricotta cheese and 1/2 c Mozzarella cheese. Spoon meat into each bun, Top with cheese mixture. Add remaining cheese. Replace bun top and wrap each bun in foil. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 - 25 min.
