A spice base for Indian masalla - to be used in many recipes. Use the basic ratio of 3:3:1 to make loads of it and store like any other spice for future use.

Recipe Ingredients for Lardking's Masalla Base

3 tsp cumin seeds
3 tsp coriander seeds
1 tsp Spices Whole Black Pepper

Recipe Directions for Lardking's Masalla Base

  1. Mix spices then grind in a spice grinder/large pepper mill/mortar & pestle.

  2. For extra flavour, before grinding heat the spices in a bone dry pan until you begin to get the aroma, then grind immediately.

  3. NOTE: This is a base massala. Experiment wiith it. Try adding your favourite spices to it. For example, I've found that a teaspoon of smoked paprika in here is amazing.
