North African Style chili Serving = 1-1/4 cups

Recipe Ingredients for Lamb and chickpea chili

1 tbs Canola Oil
1 medium Onion Chopped
1 red bell pepper, chopped
4 cloves garlic, minced
8 ounces ground lamb
8 ounces lean ground turkey
3/4 tsp salt
4 plum tomatoes, chopped
4 oz chickpeas
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1 tablespoon chili powder
2 tbs mint leaves, chopped

Recipe Directions for Lamb and chickpea chili

Sautee Pepper, onion, garlic, add meats sautee till not pink, add tomatoes, sautee untill the give up juice add chickpeas, cinnamon, chili powder and salt, cook for 2 minutes more . serve garnished with chopped mint.
