A lovely dish, very light comparing to other classic lamb dishes for a perfect red wine dinner.

Recipe Ingredients for Lam Saute in Rice and Green Beans bed from Olga's Healthy Choice

300 g Lamb Shanks
120 g onion
10 g garlic
1 cup rice
250 g green beans
6 prunes
1 tsp sea salt
1 tsp lemon zest
1 pinch garam masala
1 pinch cumin

Recipe Directions for Lam Saute in Rice and Green Beans bed from Olga's Healthy Choice

  1. In a pan saute diced lamb meat with lemon juice and 1/2 cup water on low heat till they lost their juices. Then add some salt and lemon zest, then roast few minutes. Add onions and garlics, beans and rice. Roast five more minutes. Add salt and other spices and roast for few minutes more. Then add water (according to the type of the rice). Let it boil and then turn the heat to the lowest and let it cook till the rice is cooked properly. Turn the heat off and add dried prunes and bring a nice mix. Close the lid of pan and let it rest for some time.
