Recipe Ingredients for Kuwaiti Chili Shrimp Sauce

5 cloves garlic, chopped
2 jalapeno peppers, chopped
1 teaspoon cumin
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
2/3 cup lemon juice
1/2 cup water

Recipe Directions for Kuwaiti Chili Shrimp Sauce

  1. Puree first five ingredients in food processor until a paste forms. Add lemon juice and water and blend until sauce is thickened.

  2. If making in blender, add lemon juice and water first, then add in dry ingredients and pulse until sauce forms.

  3. You can adjust water (add extra) if needed.

  4. Serve with grilled shrimp as a dipping sauce.
