Recipe Ingredients for Kuih Bangkit

275 g tapioca starch
1 tbsp butter, melted
1 egg yolk
1 cup icing sugar
120 ml coconut milk

Recipe Directions for Kuih Bangkit

  1. sift cooked starch and icing sugar together

  2. melt butter and add to starch mixture

  3. add yolk

  4. add coconut cream portion of milk

  5. knead into dough that can hold its shape (add more starch or milk as necessary to accomplish this)

  6. shape with bangkit mould and place on generously floured baking sheet

  7. bake for 15 minutes at 350F

  8. cool completely before storing
