Recipe Ingredients for Kubanskij Borsch

1 cup onion
3 cups shredded cabbage
1 cup shredded carrot
1 green pepper
1/2 cup green onion
2 tbsp olive oil
2 cups potatoes, chopped
2 quarts water

Recipe Directions for Kubanskij Borsch

  1. Saute onion, carrots, and pepper in olive oil.

  2. Meanwhile boil potatoes and cabbage in a separate pot in the water.

  3. Add the sauteed veggies and green onions when potatoes and cabbage are done.

  4. Add bay leaf.

  5. Cook until done.
