Home made spätzle with swiss cheese and gruyere. Serve with a salald, maybe some bacon bits and use some fresh ground pepper

Recipe Ingredients for Kässpätzle

200 g flour
200 g whole wheat flour
4 eggs
120 g Gruyere Cheese
240 g Swiss Cheese
1 tsp salt
1 cup water

Recipe Directions for Kässpätzle

  1. Mix flour, whole wheat flour and salt

  2. Add eggs and some water

  3. Mix ingredients until smooth.

  4. Add water as needed

  5. Boil salt water in a large pot

  6. Use Spätzlehobel to create noodles over the boiling water

  7. Let noodles boil once

  8. Scoop noodles in a glas bowl and add grated cheese

  9. Before serving mix noodles and cheese well
