Whole-grain, dried fruit and honey...Great as breakfast or pick me up snack!

Recipe Ingredients for Krystal's Dried Fruit and Honey Muffins

1 3/4 c whole-wheat flour
3/4 c oatmeal
2 c raisin bran
1/2 c brown sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
1/2 c cranberries
1/2 c raisins
1 c apple sauce
1 c apple juice
1/4 c honey
1 egg

Recipe Directions for Krystal's Dried Fruit and Honey Muffins

  1. Preheat oven 350 degrees

  2. Mix dry ingredients and dried fruits

  3. Mix wet ingredients

  4. Combine the wet and the dry ingredients, try not to over work the batter!

  5. Split into regular size muffins, makes 12-14 muffins. Tip: use an ice-cream scooper to have even size muffins.

  6. Bake 20-25 min or until a toothpick comes out clean
