Recipe Ingredients for koshari

1 cup dry rice
1 cup raw lentil
1/4 cup olive oil
8 oz dry elbow macaroni
16 oz garbanzo beans

Recipe Directions for koshari

  1. heal oil

  2. add 3 tsp minced garlic and sautee

  3. add rice and lentils

  4. add 4 cups water

  5. salt peppe and cumin to taste

  6. bring water to boil until almost evaporated

  7. simmer until cooked

  8. boil pasta

  9. plate rice and lentils

  10. put cooked pasta onto rice and lentils

  11. add chickpeas to top of heap
