Recipe Ingredients for Korean Style Corn Pancake

3/4 cup Wheat Flour
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 pinch salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 1/4 cup corn kernels
3 green onions, minced
2 hot pepper, minced
1 cup water
1 large egg
1 tbsp peanut oil
1/8 cup low sodium soy sauce
1 tsp sesame oil
1 garlic clove, minced
2 tsp sesame seeds
1 tsp rice vinegar

Recipe Directions for Korean Style Corn Pancake

  1. In a bowl, add the flour, the cornstarch, salt and pepper. Once mixed, gradually add the iced water. Blend well. Fold in the egg.

  2. Add the kernels, chili and green onions.

  3. Heat the peanut oil over high heat and add the batter. Cook until golden about 8 minutes then turn the pancake over for another 5-6 minutes until well cooked.

  4. While the pancake is cooking, mix the soy sauce, sesame oil, sesame seed, garlic and green onion. Serve sauce with the warm pancake.
