Easy brownie-like cake, with a yummy gooey center!

Recipe Ingredients for kladdkaka (Swedish chocolate cake)

100 g butter
1 1/4 cups sugar
2 eggs
3/4 cup flour
3 tbsp cocoa powder
1 tsp vanilla extract

Recipe Directions for kladdkaka (Swedish chocolate cake)

  1. Put the oven on 350 degrees F.

  2. Butter a spring form pan that is either 9 or 10 inches in diameter, and dust with bread crumbs.

  3. In a bowl, mix sugar and egg, and blend well.

  4. Add the other ingredients and mix until well blended.

  5. Pour the batter into the buttered/dusted pan.

  6. Put into the oven for about 18 minutes, or until the cake is brownie like on the outer part, but slightly more gooey in the middle.

  7. Let the cake cool.

  8. The cake can be eaten as is, or covered with powdered sugar, or with melted chocolate (which you must let harden). It could also be served with ice cream, cream or fruit.
