I used king beans instead of fava. Fresh King beans can be sauteed and they will be soft enough.

Recipe Ingredients for King beans stir-fry

1.5 cup Fava Beans
2 tomato Tomatoes, Red, Ripe
2 1tsp Olive Oil
1 cup sliced Mushroom, Oyster
15 grams Wine, Table, Red
0.75 cup chopped raw Shallots
3 clove Garlic

Recipe Directions for King beans stir-fry

  1. Heat skillet to medium and add oil. Add beans and saute for about 8 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add onions and saute another 2-3 minutes until onions are beginning to soften.

  2. Turn heat to medium-high, add tomatoes, garlic, and wine and saute another 5 minutes under cover until beans are soft. Lastly, add oyster mushrooms and saute another 1 minute. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
