Recipe Ingredients for King Arthur Vermont Whole Wheat Oatmeal Bread

2 cups boiling water
1 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup maple sugar
1 tablespoon honey
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter
1 tablespoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon instant yeast
1 1/2 cups White Whole Wheat Flour
4 cups Unbleached All-Purpose Flour

Recipe Directions for King Arthur Vermont Whole Wheat Oatmeal Bread

Mix the first five ingredients and allow to cool to room temp. Whisk together flour, cinnamon, salt, and yeast. When ready, stir in wet to dry, then knead 10 min. by hand or 8 min in stand mixer. Allow to rise until puffy, press air out, shape into loaves, allow to rise once more -- should be about 75% of the time needed for first rise or a bit less. Bake at 360 for half an hour until bread is 190 internally.
