Recipe Ingredients for King Arthur Flour No-Knead 100% Whole Wheat Bread

1 c water, lukewarm
2 oz orange juice
2 oz vegetable oil
3 T molasses or maple syrup
2 t instant yeast
1 oz milk, dry, nonfat
3 c whole wheat flour, white
1 1/4 t salt

Recipe Directions for King Arthur Flour No-Knead 100% Whole Wheat Bread

  1. Mix all ingredients in a bowl.

  2. Beat with stand mixer, on high, for 3 minutes.

  3. Place in well greased 8 1/2" x 4 1/2" pan.

  4. Bake 40-45 minutes at 350 degrees (to internal temp of 195 degrees on instant read thermometer) or to desired brownness.

  5. Remove from oven.

  6. Wait 5 minutes then turn out onto rack.

  7. Optional: Brush with melted butter if you want to keep the crust soft.

  8. Cool completely before cutting.

  9. Makes one loaf of 16 servings.
