A quick kimchi jjiage (kimchi soup) I threw together with kitchen scraps and old kimchi.

Recipe Ingredients for Kimchi Jjigae

8 oz Kimchi Korean Marinated Cabbage
0.25 package Extra Firm
5 g Soup Stock
0.13 1tsp Oil, Sesame

Recipe Directions for Kimchi Jjigae

  1. Chop the kimchi and cube the tofu.

  2. Submerge the kimchi in stock.

  3. Cover and bring to a boil.

  4. Add Korean pepper powder to taste.

  5. Cover and simmer on low for 5 minutes.

  6. Add the tofu, cover, and simmer for 10 minutes.

  7. Sprinkle with sesame oil and serve.
