TOOLS/MISC./PERSONNEL rock salt ice small cubes or crushed 1 1# tin coffee can w/plastic lid 1 3# tin coffee can w/plastic lid duct tape two or more kids

Recipe Ingredients for KID'S TIN CAN ICECREAM

1 c. milk
1 c. whipping cream
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 egg (optional)
2 cups chopped strawberries (chocolate, other fruit, etc)

Recipe Directions for KID'S TIN CAN ICECREAM

  1. Place food ingredients into 1# can.

  2. Duct tape lid securely.

  3. Place 1# can into 3# can and surround layers of salt & ice until full.

  4. Duct tape lid securely.

  5. Place two or more kids on driveway/patio (any hard surface) and have them vigorously roll the coffee can back and forth for 10 minutes.

  6. Empty melted ice

  7. Stir contents of 1# can (scraping sides well)

  8. Retape #1 lid

  9. Repack salt & ice layers

  10. Retape #3 lid

  11. Roll for another 10 minutes.
