Recipe Ingredients for Kidney Bean Veggie Burger

2 cups red kidney beans
90 g carrot
1/4 cup flax meal
1/2 red onion
2/3 cup breadcrumb
1 tsp salt
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp pepper

Recipe Directions for Kidney Bean Veggie Burger

  1. Chop onion

  2. Grate carrot

  3. Mash beans

  4. Add onion and carrot to beans, mix well

  5. Add seasoning to taste. Try it to see if it needs more salt or pepper or other seasoning.

  6. Add flax meal and mix

  7. Add breadcrumbs slowly until the mixture will allow you to form patties that are not too sticky, but not too dry. You may not need all of the breadcrumbs.

  8. Weigh patties to approximately 90 grams

  9. Roll in balls and then flatten

  10. Bake in preheated oven at 350 F for 30 minutes
